- FT position
- Aerospace Manufacturing Engineering Job Traveler Planner, is a planner that creates a job traveler that outlines the scope of work required to manufacture an aerospace part. The scope of work is derived from a purchase order, blue prints, specifications, tooling and equipment.
- Planners work closely with Management, Program Management, Production and Quality, and vendors to ensure the SOW and requirements are outlined correctly for manufacturing.
- Office position
- Work Schedule: M-F 5 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., sometimes required to work OT per Dept. Manager authorization
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and GDandT and conditions of detail.
- Ability to identify the sequence of operations to manufacturing detail aerospace/aircraft parts and sub-assemblies.
- Good communication skills: read, write and speak English. Work jointly with Management, Quality, PC staff and Shop staff.
- Good writing, email and correspondence skills.
- Work well with Team/Co-workers, Management and sometimes Customers
- Have set career goals and aspirations
- Maintain a clean workspace and equipment and community used office area.
- 2 years min. work experience in the Aerospace Manufacturing Industry and know how to read and interpret Blueprints.
- High School graduate/diploma required. Knowledge and experience with MS Word/Excel and Outlook.
- Pay Wage: $25 -$40 per hour depending on previous work experience in Aerospace Work Order Planning, other aerospace experience and education.
