As a Rate Analyst you will have the opportunity to work with multiple areas of the organization. Your contributions will have a direct impact on the business by supporting our global supply chain solutions. The team you will be working with is detail-oriented and analytical, and values the high-volume and fast-paced environment.

So, what will you be doing as a Rate Analyst?

• Support our global team to expand our capabilities with new or existing 3rd Party Service Providers to support Air, Ocean and Dray with the rate negotiation process, SOP development and on boarding process.
• Quote rate requests including FCL, LCL and Air.
• Manage International Freight Rate database(s) that would support our import, export, dray and foreign to foreign shipments.
• Provide rate analysis of trade lanes as assigned, requested and or directed.
• Maintain Hard/Soft Copy Contract Files.
• Assist in managing the freight invoice audit process (review, audit, dispute, log, aging statements, etc.) to identify and document cost saving opportunities that contribute to our organizations bottom line.
• Analyze data from our various service providers (using Excel, E2OPEN and other data management systems) to perform ad hoc reporting and analysis.
• Assist the team with additional projects.

To be successful in this role, youll need:

• Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 3 years of Supply chain or Logistics transportation experience preferred - International a plus
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining a high degree of accuracy
• Proficient in Microsoft Office with strong mathematical aptitude and attention to detail
