Duties & Responsibilities The Outreach and Recruitment Specialist works with managers to develop and implement a comprehensive and targeted outreach plan that cultivates partnerships with individuals, community & faith-based organizations, schools, city programs and events, and leaders that can refer eligible and appropriate participants to the program. The Outreach and Recruitment Specialist will implement a recruitment and enrollment plan for targeted areas by researching and understanding target population demographic and geographic data. Present and discuss the eligibility requirements and benefits of Eckerd programs with referral sources as well as with the prospective participants themselves, resulting in new participants enrolling in Eckerd programs. Conduct an outreach campaign to alumni of the Eckerd Connects programs to develop a pipeline of new participants. Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent required. Two years working in marketing. Experience working with targeted population preferred Must be able to meet requirements for Eckerd's Auto Insurance and be able to drive for business purposes. Must have and maintain an appropriate and valid state driver's license. About Our Workforce Programs: Eckerd Connects provides Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) services through contracts with the U.S. Department of Labor and local workforce boards, partnerships, and strategies to provide and create a career pathway for youth, adults, and dislocated workers. Training services include occupational skills training, customized training, on-the-job training, incumbent worker training, and transitional employment opportunities. We provide youth with development, academic instruction, career & technical education, and access to the 14 WIOA Youth Elements. We establish and develop relationships and networks with large and small employers and their intermediaries as well as develop, convene, or implement industry or sector partnerships.
