Job Description:
Job Summary
Treasury Specialist position analyzes bank services and related fees to minimize bank service expenses. He/She manages critical Treasury audit controls to ensure regulatory compliance. This position engages in special projects to support departmental initiatives and performs other tasks as requested.
Job Duties
Reviews Daily Bank Statements
Analyzes bank transactions and produces required reporting.
Reviews bank statements to verify accuracy of transactions.
Pays invoices and provides information to Financial Service Center (FSC) to facilitate Automated Clearing House payments.
Prepares daily Cash Application for Account Receivables.
Performs daily cash reconciliation.
Performs daily Duty Subledger reconciliation and processes D&T payments.
Prepares and processes customer refunds.
Performs Treasury Special Projects
Produces compliance letters quarterly to ensure compliance with debt covenants on credit lines.
Manages bank account transfers to new banks to ensure accurate and timely data migration and verify old accounts are successfully closed.
Provides monthly Quality Performance Reviews (QPR) to management (i.e., Treasury Consolidation Coordinator) to communicate project status.
Analyzes Bank Services
Compares bank fees to contracting prices to identify disparities.
Analyzes bank service usage in comparison to prior periods to determine volume disparities.
Any other related tasks assigned by reporting manager.
General Requirements
Bachelor’s degree – Preferred
Fluency in French and English languages
US GAAP knowledge required
Oracle experience required
