AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. The AWS Global Support team interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer success. AWS Support also partners with a global list of customers that are building mission-critical applications on top of AWS services.

As a Business Development Manager working with Amazon Web Services, you will have the exciting opportunity to help promote the growth and shape the future of an emerging technology.

We are seeking for a dynamic and motivated Business Development Manager with business savvy, customer network and technical background necessary to help establishing AWS as a key technology platform provider. Your responsibilities will include identifying and developing new business opportunities for new digital native accounts for AWS. The ideal candidate will need to demonstrate strong connections with FSI companies, proven track record for acquiring new business, hunting and business development capabilities, and technical selling, along with the ability to show a deep understanding around how CXO, software developers, cloud architects speak and think.

This individual should be prepared to develop and execute against a territory coverage plan and consistently deliver on revenue targets, and should be able to show a track record of building and closing new business opportunities.

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of full sales cycle, technology sales or equivalent business development, sales engineering/consulting or equivalent experience

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; fluent in Cantonese and English, in both written and spoken

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in engineering, computer science, or MIS

  • Experience driving new business in greenfield accounts at the C-suite level or equivalent
