How will you make an impact in this role?

This role will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing compensation and benefits programs across Mexico, Argentina, Brazil, and Chile. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of local labor laws, market practices, and cultural nuances to ensure our programs are competitive and support business needs. This position will also involve people leadership responsibilities.

Key responsibilities for this role are:

  • Develop and implement compensation and benefits strategies tailored to the needs of employees in Mexico, Argentina, Brazil, and Chile.

  • Ensure compliance with local labor laws and regulations across all four countries.

  • Conduct frequent market monitoring to ensure benefits competitiveness.

  • Collaborate with Colleague Experience Group teams locally and globally to align compensation and benefits programs with the company's strategic objectives and frameworks.

  • Oversee employee benefits programs, including health insurance and pension plans, among others.

  • Provide guidance and support to Colleague Experience Group teams and leaders in the different business units on compensation and benefits matters.

  • Analyze compensation and benefits data to identify trends and make data-driven recommendations proactively.

  • Participate and provide market, regional and international insights to global projects.

  • Lead and mentor direct and indirect team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.

  • Manage relationship with external vendors to ensure the delivery of compliant and cost-effective benefits.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in compensation and benefits management, preferably within a multinational organization.

  • Strong knowledge of compensation and benefits practices and regulations in Mexico, Argentina, Brazil, and Chile.

  • Proven experience in developing and implementing compensation and benefits strategies.

  • Demonstrated people leadership skills with experience in managing and developing teams.

  • Excellent analytical skills and proficiency in using HR systems (Oracle, People Soft, or similar) and compensation analysis tools.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with multicultural teams.

  • Fluency in English and Spanish is required.
