Music & Audio Production Specialist
This position oversees the planning and implementation of professional audio and music compositional standards for multimedia content produced at the Center for Teaching Innovation
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Creation of art assets as needed (Into and Outros for videos, Lower thirds, Infographics, Any other graphic for a video)
• Compose, Record, Mix, and Master original music for multimedia content. Use Virtual Instrument Libraries and recorded audio as needed.
• Design and implement solutions to audio needs during the pre-production, production, and post-production processes.
• Manage inventory of audio software and hardware to meet department needs for longevity and functionality.
• Interface with teachers and learners to ensure high quality audio needs are met for multimedia content produced by SUU.
• Maintain and build a growing library of music and sound effects for use in video content.
• Participate in department meetings and working groups for support of the overall mission of CTI
• Stay current on Professional audio industry standards and practices
• Care for field and studio equipment and furniture
Education and Experience Requirements:
• 4 Year / Bachelors Degree Required
• Professional experience in digital audio production required
• Knowledge of Steinberg's Nuendo Digital Audio Workstation preferred.
