Providence Associate Pharmacy Technician in Centralia, Washington

Associate Pharmacy Technician - Providence Centralia
$2,500 hiring bonus for eligible external hires that meet required qualifications and conditions for payment.
SCHEDULE: 1.0 FTE; 40 hours per week. Variable (mostly days or eves, may need to cover overnights when needed) 10 hour shifts.
Performs duties relating to the filling and dispensing of unit dose, IV and chemotherapeutic medications from the pharmacy to the nursing units and other ancillary departments in a prompt, safe and accurate manner. Performs all duties in a manner that promotes teamwork and reflects the Sisters of Providence Mission and Philosophy.

Required qualifications:
Coursework/Training Successful completion of a Pharmacy Technician Level A training program certified by the Washington State Board of Pharmacy. Or equivalent educ/experience
Upon hire: Washington Pharmacy Technician License
Experience with telephone call prioritization.
Experience with stressful/urgent need situations.
3 months Practical experience in a hospital pharmacy under the direct supervision of pharmacist.
Experienced in IV admixture/aseptic techniques.
Preferred qualifications:
- 1 year Hospital pharmacy experience.
