A family-owned and managed business in the Charleston, TN area, known for producing high quality projects while treating customers and it's employees like family, is seeking an experienced Heavy Machinery Mechanic to join their growing team! The more years and more certificates you have earned in your career the more 'perks' you will receive; higher pay, a take home truck, and a work cell phone. This is a full time, Direct Hire position with a starting salary of $22/hr - $30/hr depending upon experience. This job site is an easy drive from the Athens, Etowah and Cleveland areas! Responsibilities

Heavy-duty equipment mechanics repair, troubleshoot, adjust, overhaul and maintain mobile heavy-duty equipment used in transportation, construction, manufacturing, material handling, landscaping and land clearing.

More experienced (10 years and up) will get a take home truck and work phone.

The essential functions of this role include:

• wearing steel toe shoes

• working in a non-temperature controlled environment

• manual lifting up to 75lbs

Skills

• Maintenance (2 years of experience is required)

• Hydraulics (2 years of experience is required)

• Troubleshooting (2 years of experience is required)

• Heavy Machinery (2 years of experience is required)
