BluePearl Veterinarian Hospitalist in Charlestown, Massachusetts
BluePearl Pet Hospital in Charlestown, MA would like to invite a Veterinarian Hospitalist who is experienced in emergency care to join to join our specialty/ER hospital nights and weekends.
We are looking to expand our current services due to the high in-patient volume, caseload and growth of the ER and specialty services. We offer a great place to work and learn, flexible schedules, a fast-paced environment and highly qualified technicians and emergency doctors dedicated to the well-equipped ICU.
As a Hospitalist, you will work alongside our ER and specialty services and focus on management of inpatients that do not require specialty care.
The successful applicant will be an experienced ER doctor that enjoys inpatient management, diagnostic workups and collaborating with specialty services to provide the highest level of patient care.

About BluePearl, Charlestown:
The 8,500-square-foot hospital has an open treatment space floor plan and is a state-of-the-art facility that opened in 2017.
Our hospital uses sophisticated diagnostic equipment such as a Toshiba Acquilion 64 slice CT, a Phillips EPIQ 5 Diamond Select Ultrasound and Vet Ray Sedecal digital radiograph system. Our hospital also has a dissection surgical microscope, Arthrex laparoscopy/thoracoscopy/arthroscopy tower, full array of rigid and flexible endoscopic, brochoscopic, and cystoscopic cameras.
You will be joining a motivated and synergistic group of specialists and emergency doctors who work closely to provide the highest quality of care.

What you need to excel at BluePearl :
DVM/VMD degree required.
Completion of a rotating internship or residency in emergency and critical care preferred but not required.
Current license to practice veterinary medicine in this state.
Strong diagnostic and clinical skills, with the ability to make rapid and accurate assessments in emergency situations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate bedside manner.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
