Position Summary

This unique opportunity is part of the innovation center at the country’s largest electric power holding company. Your experience will help you grow for your future academic work and career.

The organization has a limited number of summer internships in the Digital Transformation division which employs digital and innovation capabilities to transform company operations. In this role you will be part of a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, energetic, and high performing team. The ideal candidate is one with a growth mindset – motivated to dream big, take risks, learn and continually evolve.

As a participant in this program, you will be part of a team tackling complex and compelling business and technical challenges. The chosen candidate for this position will also gain on-the-job experience in the areas of change management, innovation, product development, and product management. You will gain familiarity with the organization and the company’s business operations, as well as grow new skills, by networking with other Interns, shadowing roles, partnering to complete deliverables, and interacting with more senior level employees.

Basic Qualifications

  • Cumulative GPA of 2.75

  • Currently enrolled and pursuing a 4-year degree in Business Administration, Psychology, Communications, or an IT related major.

  • Valid driver’s license

Desired Qualifications

  • Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher

  • Exposure to or familiarity with software development, user experience design, product design, product management, change management or design thinking

  • Leadership potential or skills displayed through extracurricular activities (e.g., sports, community service, clubs and academic organizations)

  • Willingness to take on a variety of different tasks

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills

  • Previous software, change, design, product internship or business experience

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting

  • Self-driven, motivated, and proactive
