CNC Machinist

$20-26 / HR | Charlotte, NC

Overview:

We are seeking a talented and experienced CNC/Manual Machinist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong skillset in operating both CNC and manual machining equipment, with a focus on precision and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate CNC machines to perform tasks such as drilling, milling, turning, and boring.

  • Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine machining operations.

  • Use manual machining equipment such as lathes, grinders, and mills to fabricate parts to exact specifications.

  • Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards and make necessary adjustments as required.

  • Troubleshoot machine malfunctions and perform basic maintenance tasks.

  • Work collaboratively with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.

Qualifications:

  • Experience as a CNC/Manual Machinist in a manufacturing environment.

  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and specifications.

  • Strong knowledge of CNC porgramming and operation.

  • Ability to use precision measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges.

  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and machining processes.
