About these roles:
The Veteran Employment Transition (VET) Program is a nationwide 8-week Spring and Fall development program that converts directly to a full-time opportunity based on performance. We're hiring a class of 35 - 45 to begin on September 25th starting with an intensive training and orientation led by professional instructors and senior Wells Fargo employees. You'll network with your peers and Wells Fargo leaders while developing your skills and knowledge of our financial products and services before joining a team of experienced Wells Fargo employees for on-the-job training and development. Program Expectations:
Must be able to start on September 25, 2024 and attend the full duration of the 8-week internship program
Must be off active duty no later than September 24, 2024. (Only exceptions: terminal leave and/or traditional Guard or Reserve status, these are eligible)
Program Required Qualifications:
6+ months of work experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Service in any branch of the United States military
Able to work on the first day of the program, September 25, 2024
In these roles you will:
The Commercial Loan Operations Group has the following opportunity within the Chief Operating Office (COO):
Lead Commercial Loan Closing Representative (Available locations: Charlotte, NC)
In depth review of collateral, legal agreements and credit approvals to ensure final executed details are captured accurately and regulatory and company requirements are met
Support performance of less experienced staff and overall effectiveness of team as well as cross-group pre-close and post-close documents for the most complex commercial loans
Evaluate and upload data into the systems of record to ensure compliance with all bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
Perform complex legal activities for loan documentation that may also include documentation purchased from a third-party source, internal staff, and the Corporate Legal Group
Provide feedback and present ideas for improving or implementing processes and tools within Commercial Loan Closing
Perform or guide others on complex business and operational decisions that require planning, evaluation, and interpretation
Review and prepare loan related documents
Independently prioritize work and provide day-to-day-work leadership and mentorship to Commercial Loan Closing team
Lead or contribute to implementation of new or revised processes and procedures that require coordination among various work groups
Provide guidance and subject matter expertise to peers, colleagues and managers on the functions, policies, procedures and compliance requirements
Desired Qualifications:
6+ years of Commercial Loan Closing experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Financial services industry experience, equipment finance and leasing experience preferred
Ability to read and interpret legal documents
Experience with Siebel Originations system
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Experience working in a team-based environment to achieve service goals
Proven time management skills, with ability to balance productivity and accuracy
Ability to take initiative and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment
Experience collaborating with other functional areas
Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) skills
Aptitude to utilize applications and search tools to find information quickly
Ability to interact with integrity and professionalism with all levels of staff and management
BS/BA degree or higher in Business or Management
Job Expectations:
- Adhere to the Wells Fargo Return To Office (RTO) stipulations which require employees to work in an approved core location, 3 days a week
Pay Range:
Charlotte: $20.00 - $50.00
Actual VET Program compensation is determined by location, experience, and qualifications of the job.
