Job Title: Industrial Engineer-WMS Implementation

Job Description

The WMS Implementation Engineer is responsible for overseeing the successful deployment and integration of a Warehouse Management System (WMS) within our distribution facility in Charlotte, NC. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, managing system changes, and ensuring efficient warehouse operations. The position includes working closely with a Third-Party Logistics (3PL) provider, engineering, and manufacturing teams, as well as directly with the ERP Transformation Director. Responsibilities include understanding the current state of products and material flow, defining business requirements for WMS software upgrades, deploying and configuring systems, conducting software implementation changes, planning and executing the project within set requirements, implementing warehouse procedures for efficient space utilization and safety compliance, maintaining accurate inventory records, and streamlining operations using advanced warehouse management technologies. Additionally, the role entails assisting in the development and implementation of capital projects related to warehouse operations and collaborating with key stakeholders to improve processes and enhance productivity.
