About this role

The Inventory Manager will manage a team of intermediate to experienced professionals in Materials & Logistics, manage departmental budgets, consult on business issues, drives cost reduction activities, ensures quality control, and leads material and inventory audits.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading and managing teams that oversee all aspects of inventory control, including cycle counting, receiving, and inventory accuracy.

  • Strong leadership skills to ensure that inventory levels are accurate and processes are efficient.

Role Purpose:

  • Oversee and improve a robust cycle counting program to ensure inventory accuracy.

  • Review and analyze cycle count results, identifying root causes for discrepancies and implementing corrective actions.

  • Ensure that cycle counting activities are conducted regularly and comply with company policies.

  • Monitor and manage inventory levels, ensuring accurate records are maintained in the inventory management system.

  • Conduct regular audits to verify inventory accuracy and integrity.

  • Implement and enforce inventory control procedures to minimize shrinkage, obsolescence, and inaccuracies.

  • Collaborate with operations teams to ensure optimal inventory levels are maintained.

  • Leadership in Annual Physical Inventory for the Factory.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain or Business

  • 5+ years of experience in logistics 3PL Management

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree in a related field and a minimum of 5 years experience

  • Strong understanding of inventory control principles, cycle counting, and warehouse operations.

  • Experience managing relationships with third-party logistics providers.

  • Excellent leadership, analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

  • Proficiency in inventory management software and systems (SAP Preferred)

  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
