Market Sales Leader - Health Solutions
This is a hybrid role with the flexibility to work both virtually and from one of Carolinas offices.

What the day will look like
Develops and implements annual operating plans, consistent with objectives set by the Health Solutions Practice
Attainment of H&B new and expanded sales goal for the designated U.S. market
Partner with leadership in attainment of national sales goals
Leads national sales activities for Health and Benefits for the Health Solutions practice
Oversee performance management of H&B producers in the markets, in conjunction with Regional Sales Directors, Regional Managing Directors and Local Practice Leaders
Channel management strategy, execution & coaching, to encompass H&B new and expanded sales from the following sales channels:
Account Executives
Producers
Specialty Practice Leaders
Third party originators, as applicable
Channel conflict resolution
Coordination & execution of Marketing events and sales follow-up action plans, in close collaboration with Marketing personnel
Strategy & execution of Market(s) Recognition Programs
Develop and deliver sales skills building programs that enhance the sales abilities of channel members
Administration of H&B Sales Operations, including:
Sales goal setting & allocation
Pipeline analysis and reporting
Sales credit allocations
Serve as point person for resourcing initial prospect meetings/closing details and for Unsolicited Proposals
Leverage distribution channels for new logos
Utilize the Marshall Proposal Process
Assist/Coach on presentations and finalist meetings
Conduct post mortem on wins/losses—competitor information
Pipeline management across all distribution channels
Works on significant and unique issues requiring proficiency in a complex area requiring a broad grasp of Health and Benefits practice.
Skills and experience that will lead to success
Ten plus years of healthcare sales experience
Consulting experience preferred
Superior communication and presentation skills
Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills
Education: Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline

The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $250,000 to $265,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant’s geographic location. This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon’s annual incentive plans to receive production incentives in addition to base salary. The amount of any production incentives varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
Aon offers a comprehensive package of benefits for full-time and regular part-time colleagues, including, but not limited to: a 401(k) savings plan with employer contributions; an employee stock purchase plan; consideration for long-term incentive awards at Aon’s discretion; medical, dental and vision insurance.
