Key Job Responsibilities

Third-Party Firm Approval Management:

  • Manage the submission of financial professional and client facing content to third party distributors that require prior approval. Example material includes conference collateral, seminar invites, product marketing material, campaigns, brochures, and sales kits.

  • Responsible for maintaining relationships with third party distributor firm reviewers and internal Key Account Managers to ensure adherence to each firms’ unique rules of engagement.

  • Manage and strategize submission process with business development and marketing teams to ensure material is prioritized and submitted accurately to firms.

  • Maintain upkeep of 3 rd party firm-approval grids for External/Internal Wholesalers and Key Account teams and administer the Equitable Marketing review inbox.

  • Evaluate opportunities for driving 4U engagement across firms, Strategic Account Managers and Wholesalers

  • Analyze the advisor behavioral usage data being captured in 4U to augment existing data.

Vendor Management:

  • Support Distribution vendor setup with Vendor Maintenance.

  • Manage the relationships with established sales enablement vendors (Salesforce, Seismic, HeyDan!, 4U Platform, Salesvue, Discovery Data, Market Metrics, Grid Buddy, schedulers)

  • Ensure timely contract renewal and propose saving opportunities based on usage

  • Evaluate license allocation and redistribute as necessary

  • Establish monthly adoption metrics for each vendor in use

  • Ensures the end-to-end vendor management processes and procurement policies are implemented efficiently with internal procurement partners

  • Identify and troubleshoot issues related to vendor contract, reporting and analytics, while working to implement future process changes with current and future vendors.

Distribution Support:

  • Process SOWs, invoices, Disbursement Warrants and Marketing Allowances to support Wholesalers and Key Account Managers.

  • Provide ongoing training and upskilling for the HeyDan! team to organize and structure Wholesaler expense reports.

  • Support large scale meetings and events, including firm conferences and wholesaler meetings.

  • Identify process improvement opportunities for automating gift logging, T&E information, and expense reporting.

The base salary range for this position is $68,000 - $75,000. Actual base salaries vary based on skills, experience, and geographical location. In addition to base pay, Equitable provides compensation to reward performance with base salary increases, spot bonuses, and short-term incentive compensation opportunities. Eligibility for these programs depends on level and functional area of responsibility.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • 3-5 years in Program Management

  • 3-5 years in working with vendors

  • 4 or more years working in the Individual Retirement

  • Must be organized, detail-oriented and analytical

  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite essential

  • Flexibility working in a dynamic and high energy sales organization

  • Strong knowledge of Vendor Management and prior experience with Vendor Management functions

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Concur, Ariba a plus
