The Security and Intelligence Operations Center (SIOC) Triage Team Analyst is the single point of intake for all classes of physical security risks to include work place violence, criminal events, and physical risks. The Triage Team Analyst will intake, assess, communicate, and respond to risk events while working with SIOC Criminal Investigators to assess fact patterns, investigate crimes, reduce risk, and disseminate critical information. The SIOC is the first line of defense for physical security risk events.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Intake, assess, communicate, and respond to criminal events, workplace violence threats, facility emergencies, and other physical security risks in accordance with internal SIOC policy and procedure.

  2. Work closely with SIOC leadership to assess and escalate risk events.

  3. Work closely with SIOC leadership to issue mass communications and incident reports.

  4. Monitor multiple channels for risk events, including phone, email, and intelligence sources such as Everbridge VCC, Everbridge NC4, and DataMinr.

  5. Provide empathetic and effective support to teammates, clients, and communities.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required Qualifications:

  1. Associate's degree or equivalent education and related training or experience

  2. 6+ months of Corporate Security experience, or equivalent as demonstrated through work experience in law enforcement, the military, or other

  3. Exercise critical thinking in a high stress, call center type environment with multiple intake channels

  4. Ability to operate in multiple monitoring systems simultaneously

  5. Ability to rapidly intake and assess high risk security events for response and escalation

  6. Ability to master physical security workflows, process, and procedure

  7. Ability to complete processes in a timely manner as defined by shift leaders and team leaders

  8. Experience using basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products

  9. Flexibility to work in a 24 x 7 environment with multiple shift options.

  10. Ability to communicate clearly in writing and in verbal briefings

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. 2+ years of experience in a security operations center (SOC) or similar call center function

  2. Bachelor’s Degree

  3. Experience with Everbridge VCC and mass communication tool

  4. Experience with DataMinr
