CyberSecurity Engineer (IAM)

The CyberSercurity Engineer (IAM) will be responsible for providing engineering design, analysis,governance activities in support for CyberSecurity Solutions in Identity and Access. CyberSecurity Engineer will also have opportunities to provide help and be part of other CyberSecurity initiatives like Cloud Security, Secure Service on edge, automation etc.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Designs, engineers and supports cyber security IAM solutions..

  • Creates relevant architecture and support documents for IAM security solutions

  • Works closely with IAM architects on various CyberSecurity initiatives.

  • Creates and updates of cyber security policies, architectures and standards under guidance of architects in CyberSecurity.

  • Upgrades security solutions and recommends automation opportunities.

  • Participates in proof of concept under guidance of architects in CyberSecurity

Education and Qualifications

  • BS or MA in computer science, cybersecurity or a related field.

  • OKTA Certified

Desired, but not required:

  • Certified information systems security professional (CISSP)

Experience

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in design, engineering and support of CyberSecurity solutions particularly in Identity and Access Management.

  • Have a minimum 2 years of professional experience in setting up OKTA Authentication, SSO, MFA and IAM.

  • Have a general understanding of supporting technologies including SOAP, OAuth, SAML, OpenID Connect, HTTP, XML, LDAP, and SQL.

  • Proficiency in programming languages like Java with Spring Boot is required with SCIM integration.

  • Experience in designing OKTA Workflow based on the business requirements.

  • Experience with Design document, Test case development

  • Understands business needs and has a commitment to delivering high-quality, prompt and efficient service to the business.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to drive collaborative efforts and achieve project milestones

  • Strong knowledge of common vulnerabilities and exploitation techniques

  • Strong problem-solving and trouble-shooting skills

  • Ability to work well under minimal supervision.
