Job Title: Manual Machinist

Job Description

We are hiring 2 machinists to work in a busy machine shop. We are looking for committed and dependable workers. The position is ideally for 2nd shift (2 PM - 10:15 PM), but we are open to 1st shift (6 AM - 2:30 PM) for the right candidate. There are currently two types of openings in the shop for machinists specializing in Bridgeport, HAAS milling, or manual machines. Responsibilities include setting up and operating various manual machine shop equipment, maintaining a clean and safe work area, performing daily maintenance of machines, reading and understanding layouts, job packets, and blueprints, inspecting parts using micrometers and related instruments, performing necessary side operations during machine cycle time, and working as a team member to support all shifts and personnel.
