What YOU Will Do:

• Prepare, schedule, coordinate and monitor the assigned engineering projects

• Monitor compliance to applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards and specifications

• Interact daily with the customers to interpret their needs and requirements and represent them in the field

• Perform overall quality control of the work (budget, schedule, plans, personnel’s performance) and report regularly on project status

• Assign responsibilities and mentor project team

• Cooperate and communicate effectively with program managers and other project participants to provide assistance and technical support

• Review engineering deliverables and initiate appropriate corrective actions

• Experienced with drawing up blueprints and plans for products and equipment

• Maintains records and files of all completed engineering work

• Keeps apprised of the latest developments and innovations in the industry

• Orders and replaces equipment parts

• Answers employee or customer questions about project status

• Ensures that all safety procedures are observed during project work

• Ability to manage complex test systems projects

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) unless prohibited by local laws/regulations and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience

• U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee or asylee) or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations required https://www.ecfr.gov/current/title-22/chapter-I/subchapter-M/part-120/subpart-C/section-120.62

• Previous Project Engineering experience

Qualifications We Prefer:

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering

• Previous experience with design and visualizations software such as AutoCAD

• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite Software such as MS Word, MS Excel/Macro, MS PPT, etc.

• Previous Enterprise Resource Planning software experience such as SAP/ORACLE

• Previous knowledge / experience utilizing Lean Principles, Six Sigma, Agile, Kaizen, CORE

• Previous experience demonstrating leadership and decision making skills

• Previous research and communication experience translating technical jargon into simple, understandable terms

The salary range for this role is 77,000 USD - 163,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
