Remote Monday and FridayPay rate:up to $25/hr, this is negotiable.Job DescriptionThe CAD Technician will function as a member of a technical team alongside Designers, Engineers, and Project Managers and will be responsible for the creation and revision of technical drawings associated with the design/engineering of electrical substations.RequirementsBasic knowledgeand proficient in AUTO CAD, 2-5 years of Experience.Knowledge of electrical circuitsExperience with arks on Blue Beam, PDF software is a plus.Understanding of substations is a plusResponsibilitiesAssist with preparing new drawings and revising existing engineering drawings of basic components from specific sketches or layouts.Responsible for adhering to company and client drafting standards and procedures.Responsible for adhering to ANSI standard drafting practices.Assist in drafting, design, and documentation for various projects.Assist with tasks utilizing various drafting and design software.Assist with ad hoc projects as assigned by managers.All other duties as assigned.Required Soft Skills/Company Culture details:Looking for someone who wants to grow with the companyExcellent written and verbal communication skillsSomeone who will be dedicated to this role so they can advance into an engineerBenefits of working with our client:Employee owned company,Can qualify for end of year bonuses if converted to FTE.Employee stock options.EEO EmployerApex Systems is an equal opportunity employer.
