Curtiss-Wright Corporation Project Control Analyst in Cheswick, Pennsylvania

We are looking for a Project Control Analyst to join our Pittsburgh (Cheswick) location.

Your Responsibilities:

Perform the necessary Project Control activities to support their assigned projects, which include but are not limited to: Project set-up activities in Oracle and Primavera; Develop and review project schedules, Work Breakdown Structures, cost profiles, and cost and revenue budgets; Perform schedule and budget analysis to provide potential risks and opportunities; Person in this role should have the ability and experience to perform these activities with some/limited direction on inputs from Project Manager or Manager. At this facility we have a flexible work scheduled -- Work from home and the 9/80.

Your Challenge:

  • Create and maintain project schedules depicting project pre-requisite activities, manufacturing operations, purchasing activities, and customer commitments in support of Production Control activities as required for the assigned production, design, and forecasted projects. Perform analysis of schedules to identify potential risks and opportunities.

  • Create and maintain cost profiles, approved cost budgets, and forecasted revenue and invoice budgets as required for the assigned production, design, and forecasted projects. This includes performance of Earned Value (EV) analysis as required. Also includes budget analysis to identify risks and opportunities to meeting the financial objectives.

  • Support the Sales and Operations Planning process, including creation and maintaining of forecasted orders, unbooked revenue and invoice budgets, and updating of the Product Delivery Schedule. Work closely with PMO and Ops Planning to maintain alignment.

  • Perform Project Set-up Activities, maintain project information, and assist with readiness reviews and make/buy change recommendations for assigned projects.

  • Support the PM with quoting and creation of the Project Work Plan (PWP) as required, through the creation and maintenance of project schedules, cost profiles, and Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) as requested. Assist the PM with project related tasks as requested.

What you Bring:

  • BS Degree (or equivalent) in relevant field from accredited institution.

  • Knowledge of project management and manufacturing processes

  • Experience with Oracle or other similar ERP system

  • Knowledge of cost and revenue budgets, Primavera, Microsoft Project and Excel

  • Ability to review and analyze data

  • Ability to work as part of a team & with other functional groups.

  • Must be a US citizen and be able to qualify for a U.S. Government security clearance
