Duties and Responsibilities

  • Perform and oversee basic administrative duties within the CVRI institute functioning independently in planning and coordinating multiple projects and tasks simultaneously

  • Coordinate CVRI seminar speakers including advertising announcements, itineraries and travel

  • Assist with design and maintenance of CVRI website

  • Serve as liaison with all faculty and staff in all School of Medicine departments and institutes

  • Provide administrative support for the CVRI Co-Directors including answering and screening telephone calls and visitors, taking messages and making referrals

  • Maintain Co-Directors’ calendars, schedule meetings and make room reservations

  • Coordinate retreats and other events

  • Attend meetings as requested

  • Handle special projects as requested

  • Perform related duties as assigned

    Minimum Education and/or Work Experience

High school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of three year of experience in an administrative position.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred. Knowledge in fundraising and/or higher education is considered beneficial.
