Description

Ardmore Roderick is seeking a Civil Engineer I to assist in the preparation. Candidate must be highly detail oriented and organized.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited institution

  • 0-4 years of civil design experience

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • General knowledge and ability to analyze, interpret, and apply, regulations, guides, standards, codes, methods, and practices necessary to perform assignments

  • Knowledge of MicroStation and or AutoCAD

  • Familiarity with Geopak/Open Roads 3D Modeling a plus

  • Engineer in Training License or ability to obtain within one year of employment

  • Willingness to adapt to different project types and tasks

    Duties & Responsibilities

  • Civil design including site geometric, profiles/grading, stormwater management calculations, utility coordination, permitting, plan & specifications preparation and other related tasks for site developments and or road and highway facilities.

  • Prepare engineering assignments independently while under the guidance of an experienced engineer.

  • Prepare and/or peer review deliverable drawings, calculations, and reports.

  • Participate in field walkdowns, design review meetings and/or conference calls.
