Description
Ardmore Roderick is seeking a Civil Engineer I to assist in the preparation. Candidate must be highly detail oriented and organized.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited institution
0-4 years of civil design experience
Strong written and verbal communication skills
General knowledge and ability to analyze, interpret, and apply, regulations, guides, standards, codes, methods, and practices necessary to perform assignments
Knowledge of MicroStation and or AutoCAD
Familiarity with Geopak/Open Roads 3D Modeling a plus
Engineer in Training License or ability to obtain within one year of employment
Willingness to adapt to different project types and tasks
Duties & Responsibilities
Civil design including site geometric, profiles/grading, stormwater management calculations, utility coordination, permitting, plan & specifications preparation and other related tasks for site developments and or road and highway facilities.
Prepare engineering assignments independently while under the guidance of an experienced engineer.
Prepare and/or peer review deliverable drawings, calculations, and reports.
Participate in field walkdowns, design review meetings and/or conference calls.
