This candidate will manage fund development activities including grant writing, donor relationship management, and fundraising projects. This is a hybrid role offering a bonus incentive!
The Role:
- Crafting compelling grant proposals and letters of intent
- Maintaining a grant opportunity calendar and ensuring timely submissions
- Collaborating with team members and cultivating relationships with stakeholders
- Delivering presentations to potential sponsors/donors
- Handling donor communications and managing the donor database
- Managing department budget, expenses, and performance reports
You:
- Bachelor\'s degree or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of experience in grant writing and donor solicitations
- Excellent communication and writing skills
- Proficiency in Salesforce is preferred
- The role requires travel for meetings around Chicago, with mileage reimbursed, and proficiency in managing multiple projects simultaneously
