Principal Accountabilities:
Loading and unloading products from railcars, trucks, totes, and drums with raw materials and finished products
Drumming products and storing finished products in the warehouse, forklift use is required
Manage paperwork and necessary SAP data input
Run quality and analytical testing on in-process and finished products in the Laboratory
Operate batch processes, filtration, and pumping systems
Understanding and adhering to all safety rules and regulations
Maintaining a safe and clean work environment
Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Right to work in the U.S. that is not based solely on possession of a student visa or a visa sponsored by a third-party employer
Cargill requires employees to be a minimum of 18 years old to work in a production facility
Ability to perform physical job duties which may include bending, lifting up to 50lbs, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting safely, with or without a reasonable accommodation
Basic computer skills
Ability to work overtime including weekends, holidays, or different shifts with advance notice
Must be able to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions which may include heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc., with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
Must be able to understand and communicate in English(verbal/written)
Ability to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above)
Preferred:
Previous experience operating a forklift
Basic experience troubleshooting various mechanical components and systems
Prior experience in production related work
Experience with loading and unloading bulk liquids from railcars or trucks
Experience and/or basic operating knowledge of batch processes, filtration, and pumping systems
