Robert Half Office Services Associate in Chicago, Illinois

Description We are in search of a dedicated Copy Clerk for our operations in Chicago, Illinois. As a Copy Clerk, you will be tasked with a variety of office services including reprographics copy, mail services, and supporting other service lines as needed. This position will require you to work in both physical and digital environments, providing back-office support to our teams and clients.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all office services work is logged appropriately for record-keeping

• Properly fill out job tickets before starting work

• Perform office services tasks, primarily reprographics, mail, and intake functions, according to established procedures

• Follow procedures to run jobs in the correct order

• Communicate with supervisor or client on job or deadline issues

• Meet contracted deadlines for accepting, completing, and delivering all work

• Troubleshoot basic equipment problems

• Lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis

• Prioritize workflow to manage time and resources efficiently

• Perform Quality Assurance on own and work of others

• Load machines with various paper and toner supplies

• Answer telephone and emails, place service calls when needed

• Interact with clients in person, over the phone, or electronically

• Adhere to policies in addition to client site policies

• Use equipment and supplies in a cost-effective manner. Requirements • Proficiency in customer service and communication skills is required.

• Experience in office functions and operations is essential.

• Familiarity with procedures and policy implementation.

• Ability to handle answering inbound calls professionally.

• Experience in supervising a team.

• Knowledge of time management and organization.

• Capable of providing workstation support.

• Strong phone presence.

• Familiarity with hiring processes.

• Proficiency in scanning and scanning document procedures.

• Experience in receptionist duties.

• Ability to troubleshoot basic office issues.

• Familiarity with office facility management.

• Basic knowledge of digital tools and platforms.

• Ability to maintain logs and records.

• Experience in operating office machinery.

• Knowledge of paper management and organization.

• Experience in quality assurance.

• Ability to distribute faxes efficiently.

• Willingness to work overtime if required.

• Experience in handling service calls.
