Summary

The Business Process Analyst (BPO) for Wolters Kluwer (WK) CT Corporation is responsible for the definition, design and implementation of new/upgraded product features and process improvements to improve revenue growth, optimize operational efficiencies and achieve company goals and objectives. The BPO leverages a strong knowledge of the company and industry and relationships with multiple internal teams to effectively plan and execute initiatives and projects. The BPO also participates in internal/end user training initiatives, product support/maintenance activities, and other projects designed to meet or exceed company objectives. Activities of the BPA include: developing and maintaining a knowledge of the department, company and industry as a whole; driving the definition and design of system enhancements, defects, processes and projects; facilitating a smooth transition of a quality product/upgrade to a production environment; participating in training initiatives to educate internal teams and end users; driving operational excellence through the service and finance organizations; participating in organizational activities to meet or exceed company objectives; and representing Wolters Kluwer within the industry.

Job Description:

  • Planning for, and ideation of projects and initiatives focused on improving UCC processes, systems and workflows that affect UCC product lines and customer experience.

  • Maintain an up to date roadmap detailing projects and initiatives to provide transparency into past, current and future activities.

  • Partner and develop rapport with CT, WKLS, FCOE and GBS employees across diverse functional areas such as Sales, Service, Marketing, Product Management, Law Firm and Major Account segment management, Business Enablement, Accounting, IT and Customer Support.

  • Stakeholder Meetings with CT Service, Sales and Law Firm Segment management.

  • Regularly scheduled meetings to review CT UCC Process Owner activities and to discover emerging concerns and opportunities

  • Develop and leverage deep understanding of WKLS functional roles and responsibilities

  • Establish operational cadence with CT Governance and WKLS via meetings and shared initiatives

  • Attend regularly scheduled meetings to review cross business unit synergy, shared strategy, system health and performance metrics.

  • Work in conjunction with CT Business Enablement Governance Team to define process and procedures with WKLS.

  • UCC process health monitoring (TFS tickets, Critical Issues, IRT and ASM Priorities)

  • Functional Backlog submission, New UCC Item Order Catalog item creation

  • Release Shakeout and Management - Assemble SME teams for testing and verification.

  • Provide Release Notes and User Guides for new products and features

  • Conceive, define and propose initiatives designed to improve UCC systems , processes and workflows.

  • Serve as UCC Business Owner, SME and advocate roles within project teams and lifecycles.

  • Support new product development and GTM plans

  • Work with Product Management, Sales, Service and IT to address issues and drive business outcomes

  • Serve as UCC Process SME for user experience, workflow and contextual design of new products.

  • Ensure new products adhere to Uniform Commercial Code requirements and industry standards.

  • Monitor post-deployment performance and identify issues.

  • Consult and partner with The Learning Center for development of training materials.

  • Support Product (Item) Owner with subject matter expertise for working with WKLS Teams on new item creation.

  • Consult with Sales, Marketing, Service and The Learning Center for GTM plans.

  • Monitor post-release performance and escalate issues.

  • Monitor Search and Filing Offices for changes impacting CT products, services and order fulfillment, such as filing and search office requirements, fee and form changes, turnaround time, legislation and changes to systems and data.

  • Attend semi-monthly meetings of Jurisdictional Change Committee

Other Knowledge, Skills, Abilities or Certifications:

  • Proficiency with online databases is preferred.

  • Knowledge of WKLS organizational structure and functions.

  • Working Understanding of Transactional, On Demand services for CT and UCC businesses

  • Partner with CT Service teams on Transactional End to End workflows

  • Working understanding of Public Records management

  • Data Management Tasks as needed

  • Experience with providing and/or supporting Professional Services that includes public APIs for Customer system integrations is a plus

  • Experience or certification with product management and product ownership a plus (Pragmatic Marketing, Scaled Agile "SAFe")

Minimum Qualifications

  • 0-3 years of related UCC, legal experience, OR equivalent.

  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills to effectively interface with various functional groups within the organization

  • Ability to work under pressure and use good judgment

  • Strong work-organizational skills with attention to detail and demonstrated abilities to prioritize workload and work independently

  • Strong analytical skills

  • Strong results focus and goal achievement skills

  • Detail oriented with strong analytical, time management and problem solving skills.

  • Ability to work well in a team.

  • Ability to work onsite at one of the following Wolters Kluwer locations: Columbus, OH; Chicago, IL, Houston, TX or Clayton locations in a hybrid remote capacity.
