Federal Reserve System Senior HRIS Analyst in Chicago, Illinois

This role is responsible for performing complex analysis, technical support, consultation, and optimization of the Bank’s HR technology software and related processes. As the Senior Human Resources (HR) Technology Analyst, you will collaborate with and advise Bank users, technical staff, HR subject matter experts, HR business partners and leadership on the Bank’s HR technology solutions regarding business objectives; process changes, design, and enhancements; user experience; and complex issue resolution. You will report to the Team Lead and will have no direct reports.

This position is titled internally as Senior Human Resources Technology Analyst.

Your Responsibilities:

HR Technology Analysis and Technical Support

  • Conducts system and process analysis throughout implementation lifecycles and for on-going support and scalability of Workday HCM and supporting integrations

  • Facilitates systems and security configuration for the Workday HCM platform and other HR software tools with respective technology teams

  • Partners closely with information security team on HR technology efforts supporting data integrations and system authentication, ensuring system stability, security compliance and expeditious resolution for high impact issues

  • Develops and presents HR Technology related communications and training

  • Provides best practice information in alignment with our control environment

HR Technology Consultation and Optimization

  • Leads business process and HR technology implementations based on understanding of associated technology from both the user experience and as a business enabler

  • Partners with HR and technology teams to lead Workday HCM system related projects, including system upgrades, enhancement packages, releases and process redesign

  • Advises HR teams, including subject matter experts and leadership, on strategic and ad-hoc HR technology requests

  • Evaluates configuration requirements by evaluating business needs and end user experience and building system process flow maps for all HR system processes

Your Background:

  • Bachelor’s Degree with coursework in business/human resources/technology or equivalent experience

  • Minimum five years of experience in a related field

  • Minimum two years of experience with Workday HCM design, configuration, and reporting

  • Experience supporting enterprise class human capital management solutions

  • Experience in Agile project management methodologies and application

  • Strong communications skills, written and verbal at multiple levels, including executives, business management and technology teams

  • Flexible, with the ability to support multiple projects and prioritize tasks as necessary

  • Passion for exceptional customer service

  • Strong organization and time management skills

  • Ability to work in fast- paced and dynamic team environment

  • Advanced skills in utilizing office presentation and analysis software

  • Applies extensive problem solving and decision making skills

  • Possesses and applies strong consultative and negotiation skills

  • Service oriented and flexible to meet changing business needs

  • Exhibits excellent judgment and professional etiquette

Additional Requirements:

  • This is a hybrid position requiring a minimum of two days per week in office.
