Aon is looking for a Senior Specialist in Strategic Engagement, hybrid in either NYC or Chicago

Aon Inpoint provides advisory services and strategic implementation support to Aon Inpoint’s clients, which include many of the most prestigious insurance companies in the Global Property, Casualty and Health & Benefit (re)insurance market.

Through our consultative approach, we help our clients to navigate a fluid market environment to drive profitable and sustainable growth and business results. We have privileged access to Aon’s global network of (re)insurance industry authorities to derive unique and compelling insights into the sources of competitive advantage in our industry.

A Senior Specialist’s responsibilities include:

  • Creating and maintaining proficiency in the company's and insurers strategy, products, leadership and operations to enrich client outcomes

  • Working with the team on ensuing account management tasks including requests and gathering of information from carriers and colleagues, participating on projects, collaborating closely with internal professionals and organizing meeting logistics to ensure customer satisfaction

  • Reporting to senior colleagues on relationship satisfaction to ensure a mutual understanding both internally and externally

  • Working as part of a team that delivers discrete projects for insurers and reinsurers on wide ranging strategic questions

  • Undertaking market research, financial and data analysis that informs recommendations

  • Supporting the preparation and facilitation of interviews with clients and Aon colleagues as well as engaging and contributing to the production of reports and other client results.

    To Be Qualified for This Role:

  • Ideally 1 to 3 years of account management experience, Insurance/Financial Services sector preferred

  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external partners

  • At ease with analyzing large / sophisticated data sets and distilling practical insights from them

  • Willing to travel less than 10% of the time

  • Demonstrates personal qualities of planning, commitment, resolving problems, decisiveness, and commitment to personal development

  • Experienced in Microsoft Office applications; Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint being extremely valuable

  • Bachelor’s degree

    Pay Transparency Laws:

    The salary range for this position is $74,300 to $99,100 (for NYC) or $67,900 to $90,500 (for Chicago) annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted to reflect applicant’s geographic location.
