Tech Compliance Auditor Advisor (AI Audit Analyst)

Location : This position will work a hybrid model (remote and office). The ideal candidate will live within 50 miles of our Elevance Health PulsePoint locations located in Chicago, IL.

The AI Audit Analyst is responsible for conducting risk assessments, reviews, special projects, and other activities on Artificial Intelligence (AI) solutions for the enterprise, across all lines of business and functions, to ensure Elevance Health develops and deploys AI technologies consistent with our internal standards, policies, contracts, laws, and regulations. This position is an exciting opportunity to provide valuable insights to the AI business to improve the effectiveness of risk management, monitoring, and governance processes.

How you will make an impact:

• Assists the development and execution of high-quality risk assessments of AI solutions.

• Perform reviews of AI solutions, testing for compliance to Elevance Health standards, policies, and regulations.

• Identify risks and collaborate with AI system team leadership and business management on testing and evaluation procedures, which includes working with the AI business on process, controls, documentation, and issues.

• Work with risk management frameworks or in situations that involve assessing, measuring, and mitigating risk for AI solutions.

• Supports the RAI processes including identification and analysis of risks.

• Coordinates with other risk functions (e.g., Compliance, Information Security, Internal Audit) throughout the organization.

• Performs interviews and asks questions to gather necessary to perform reviews and audits.

• Documents and tracks results.

• Researches complex business and AI systems processes.

• Documents business processes dependent on AI systems.

• Work with AI system teams and business partners to address deficiencies or issues through periodic monitoring and retesting.

• Produces engagement planning, tests planning, documents findings, and defines appropriate remediation.

• Creates training documents.

• Analyzes results of specific or general work requests.

• Provides status and reporting metrics.

• Resolves conflict and escalates issues.

• Creates tools to gather and retain information with ease to support audit team.

• Present any issues/deficiencies along with recommendations for remediation.

Minimum Requirements:

Requires an AA/AS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field of study and a minimum of 4 years experience in audit (information technology, operations or financial), desktop (MS Office-Excel, Word, Access, Project), audit and regulatory requirements and standards (PCAOB, CobiT, SAS70, SOX etc.); or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences:

• Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Public Accounting (CPA), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), or Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) required.
