The Manager, Technical Sales is the expert of one specific category within the Specialities range of products (ice cream/dairy, bakery/pastry, confections/snacking or restaurant chains). This position is responsible for the creation, implementation and follow up of projects with customers in order to support the sales with expertise. The Manager, Technical Sales meets with customers and provides support needed on project development and implementation.

Key responsibilities include:

● Brings product expertise across different stakeholders, technical, USP’s, MOQ, SLA’s, Pack size

● Expert on one specific type of product and brings a 360-degree view

● Acts as the Project Lead for one category of product and owner on customer’s request and project

● Interface between the market and operations, between stakeholders (internal and external), especially with Customer R&D and Sales

● Form strong relationships with our Chefs to inspire our customers and drive growth opportunities

● Identifies priorities within the portfolio and establishes project’s feasibility

● Assess route to market/new route to market opportunities

● As project lead, is responsible for commercial pipeline and for developing new projects

● Transposes success stories & sharing best practices (and challenge sales to bring new opportunities)

● Provides follow up and maintenance on "opportunity-list" in salesforce.com

● Promotes standard and tailor-made solutions for the specific range of product

● Develops the Specialities portfolio and product expertise within a specific scope for LMN portfolio with the sales team and R&D teams. Develops the portfolio’s projects and strategy

About you:

● Bachelor’s degree in related field required; Masters in Economics/Business/Food Engineering preferred

● 3-5 years of experience in Marketing, R&D, Sales and in gourmet or food-related industry

● Strong Segment insight (market, consumer, customer, retail) required

● Business acumen and demonstrated quantitative skills

● Ability to work independently and as an effective team member

● Exercise professional conduct and sound judgment in all related areas

● Strong communication skills

● Ability to travel 30%
