Naval Air Systems Command INTERDISCIPLINARY ELECTRONICS/ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN in China Lake, California

Summary You will serve as a INTERDISCIPLINARY ELECTRONICS/ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN in the SPECTURM WARFARE DEPARTMENT, AVIONICS/WEAPONS INTEGRATION ENGINEERING DIVISION of NAVAIRWARCENWPNDIV CHINA LAKE. Responsibilities You will serve as a Technician for the Weapons and Sensor Integration team on the F/A-18 and EA-18G at the Advanced Weapons Lab (AWL), NAWS China Lake. You will assist Infrared Search and Track (IRST) Project Lead and Release Managers in performing lab, ground, and flight-testing events to conduct hardware integration verification. You will perform tasks involving verification of new System Configuration Sets (SCS) ensuring any changes made to the system set are compatible with current Infrared Search and Track functionalities. You will verify implementation of system and subsystem requirements across the aircraft. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications DT-04: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (DT-03) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate duties related to the following: 1) Performing lab, ground, and flight testing events; 2) Conducting hardware integration verification; 3) Conducting verification of System Configuration Sets; and 4) Demonstrating project planning experience. DT-03: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (DT-02) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate duties related to the following: 1) Assisting in performing lab, ground, and flight testing events; 2) Assisting in conducting hardware integration verification; 3) Assisting in conducting verification of System Configuration Sets; and 4) Demonstrating knowledge in project planning.
