Job Description Hybrid - onsite at least 3 days a week in Cincinnati, OH. Our banking client is looking for a Data Engineer to join their team. Due to client requirement, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance. Salary: $100,000 - $160,000/year Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be taken into account when determining salary Other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided salary range. Responsibilities of the Data Engineer: Design, development, and support of data solutions, APIs, tools, and processes Translate business and technical strategies into data-driven solutions for the Bank Act as a technical expert addressing problems related to system and application design, performance, integration, security, etc. Conduct research and development based on current trends and technologies Work with developers to Build CI/CD pipelines, self-service build tools, and automated deployment processes Provide support and troubleshooting for data platforms Participate in the planning process for hardware and software Plan and work on internal projects as needed Provide technical guidance and mentoring for other team members Manage and prioritize multiple assignments Requirements of the Data Engineer: A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field and at least 6 years of related experience At least 4 years in a hands-on data engineering role Experience with SAS Grid Experience with Snowflake, DB2 and Oracle Data Engineering, Data Architecture Experience with Agile, ETL and development Must be able to communicate ideas both verbally and in writing to management, business and IT sponsors, and technical resources Proficient in relational database modeling concepts and techniques Proficient in SQL Solid conceptual understanding of data engineering principles Please be advised- If anyone reaches out to you about an open position connected with Eliassen Group, please confirm that they have an Eliassen.com email address and never provide personal or financial information to anyone who is not clearly associated with Eliassen Group If you have any indication of fraudulent activity, please contact InfoSec@eliassen.com .
