We are currently seeking a Industrial Architectural Designer in our Cincinnati, OH office. As a Industrial Architectural Designer you will be responsible for the design and production of drawings, specifications, reports and quality control of projects as well as staying current with the latest design practices, software and codes effecting design. Some key duties and responsibilities include: Prepares and organizes project files; Adheres to and reviews design methods, changes in scope, project schedule and budget with Project Manager in accordance with IMEG standards; Assists in providing, reviews and updates preliminary design with other disciplines; Participates in quality review of final design drawings and specifications; Recognizes potential project problems quickly and seeks advice of Project Manager; Conducts periodic site observations and other services as required by the contact services agreement; Assists with analysis of building codes, ADA, zoning analysis and other applicable codes; Assists with coordinating, designing and scheduling with other disciplines such as electrical, structural, mechanical, clerical and equipment suppliers; Key skills and abilities needed for the position are: Knowledge of design techniques, tools and principles involved in production of precision plans and drawings; Skill in the use of Microsoft office programs; Skill in the use of REVIT and Sketch Up a plus; Ability to clearly communicate in both oral and written communication to individuals or groups.
