POSITION OVERVIEW & RESPONSIBILITIES The IT Help Desk Technician is typically responsible for providing input and technical expertise, and working closely with management, project team, and clients. Specific responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the following: Assisting end users directly or remotely with issues related to PC support, printing issues, support of Microsoft Office suite, VPN connectivity. Assist with Break/Fix/Replacement. Imaging computers. Installing software. Asset tagging/inventory activity. QUALIFICATIONS Required Minimum 2 years of user support experience, including help desk or deskside support. Experience supporting Microsoft Teams. Knowledge of computer technology/systems and specific areas of application. Proficiency in basic PC troubleshooting, printer issues, Office Suite, VPN, Windows OS, imaging computers, and Autodesk products. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Organized and able to manage time effectively. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with others. Represent KFI in a professional matter and comply with policies and procedures. Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds. Minimal travel required. Preferred Working experience with Intune Experience in remote desktop support (TeamViewer), Active Directory user administration/setup, and video conferencing support. Knowledge of engineering software is a plus. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. CORE BEHAVIORS Accountable Demonstrates persistence in the achievement of goals.
