Basic Job Functions: * Work closely with business partners to collect product (application) needs and document them as acceptance criteria within Feature documents * Represent these needs to the development teams in order for them to create user stories and sprint plans * Work with the architecture teams to develop an overall product vision * Ensure that the development team always has a planned and prioritized team story backlog * Provide leadership for PI and sprint planning sessions * Communicate with other Product owners and Scrum Masters to ensure that dependencies and risks are well planned for * Assess value, develop cases, and prioritize stories to ensure work focuses on those with maximum value that are aligned with product strategy * Lead UAT / product feedback sessions with the business users and capture new ideas or gaps * Provide backlog management, iteration planning, and elaboration of the user stories * Work closely with Product Management Team(s) to create and maintain a product backlog according to business value * Lead the team level planning of product releases and set the expectation for delivery of new functionalities * Provide an active role in mitigating impediments impacting successful team completion of Release/Sprint Goals * Research and analyze market, the users, and the roadmap for a product * Keep abreast with Agile/Scrum best practices Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.
