The Dewitt Companies Account Manager / CSR in City of Industry, California
Approved Transportation & Warehousing, Ltd./Approved Freight Forwarders has immediate openings for a qualified Account Manager 1 – 2 years’ experience in 3PL freight. The rate of pay is $21.00 per/hr. The hours for this position are 9:00am – 6:00 pm Mon- Fri (Open to overtime when offered).IF YOU ARE A CURRENT EMPLOYEE, PLEASE SEE YOUR HR REPRESENTATIVE
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
Receive and process pick up requests by phone, fax or email (30 min email acknowledgment)
Prepare routing information and forward shipping instructions to appropriate parties
Manage ship dates and deliveries to ensure deadlines are met
Respond to customers inquiries quickly and effectively via email or phone
Track and trace freight, notify the customers of shipping dates, anticipated delays, or any additional information that may be required by the customer.
Maintain good attendance and punctuality
Manage client accounts and maintain customer relationships.
REQUIRED SKILLS / ABILITIES:
Proficient in Excel, Microsoft Word and Outlook
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Must have phone skills and email etiquette to answer phone calls and respond to email inquiries in a timely manner
Must possess a positive attitude, and work well in a team
Ability to confidently work in a rapidly changing, fast paced and result-oriented corporate environment where a high degree of flexibility if required.
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 1-2 years of 3PL /Freight Forwarding experience
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Able to lift up to 25 pounds.
Sit or stand for extended periods of time
Pay
$21.00 an hour
