Description We are offering a contract employment opportunity for a Business Systems Analyst in Claremont, California. This role primarily involves business analysis and project management duties within the telecom industry. The successful applicant will be responsible for working with stakeholders on complex projects, managing support for technology systems, and assisting in the development of business processes and procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Work as a business analyst on large and complex projects, engaging with stakeholders to define and document requirements.

• Manage support for technology systems, and provide users with regular updates and status reports.

• Assist in the development and implementation of business processes and procedures.

• Proactively liaise with a diverse network of colleagues, donors, volunteers, staff, faculty, and other key stakeholders.

• Use SQL, Microsoft Excel, and Cognos to support tasks and improve efficiency.

• Support a customer-service oriented model of services.

• Use Excel Formulas, Microsoft Excel, Cognos, and Microsoft SQL Server for gathering requirements and managing data. Requirements • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Excel Formulas is mandatory.

• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server is essential.

• Familiarity with Cognos is required.

• Ability to gather and analyze requirements effectively.

• Strong analytical skills with a focus on business systems.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

• Detail-oriented with a strong ability to multi-task.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, or related field is preferred.

• Previous experience in a similar role would be advantageous.
