Honeywell HR Manager in FLORIDA, Florida

As an HR Manager here at Honeywell Energy & Sustainability Solutions (ESS), you will play a critical role in managing and overseeing aspects of human resources for our Port Manatee, FL location. You will be responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies, policies, and programs that align with the business objectives and help to enable the growth and expansion of the site. Your role will involve partnering with leadership to drive employee engagement, talent acquisition, performance management, and employee development initiatives. Additionally, you will ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations related to HR practices. You will report directly to our HR VP and you'll work out of our Port Manatee, FL location. In this role, you will impact the success of our organization by creating a positive work environment, attracting and retaining top talent, enhancing our culture of diversity and inclusion and fostering a culture of continuous improvement through employee development. You will also play a critical role in leading the integration of this new site into our organization.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist in the integration of this new site and the employees into Honeywell; develop and implement HR programs and policies that align with business objectives.

• Partner with leadership to drive employee engagement, talent acquisition, performance management, and employee development initiatives.

• Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations related to HR practices.

• Assist in the management of employee relations, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievance procedures.

• Oversee the outsourced recruitment and onboarding process, including job postings, candidate screening, and new hire orientation.

• Collaborate with HR team members to develop and deliver training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.

• Monitor and analyze HR metrics to identify trends and put actions in place to drive improvement.

• Stay updated on industry best practices and trends in HR to ensure the organization remains competitive in attracting and retaining top talent.

• Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR-related matters.

YOU MUST HAVE

• 5+ years of experience in HR management roles

• Strong knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and best practices

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to effective work in a matrixed environment

• Ability to build strong relationships with employees at all levels of the organization

• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills

WE VALUE

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field

• Master's degree in Human Resources or a related field, HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR, SPHR).

• Previous HR experience in a plant environment

• Experience with HRIS systems and data analytics

• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and changing environment

• Strong leadership and team management skills
