ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Lead Engineer Tech – 3rd Shift – at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in managing the technical engineering activities in our Clearwater, FL location. Your technical expertise and leadership skills will contribute to the growth and success of our organization.

In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize processes, drive innovation, and ensure the successful execution of engineering projects. Your ability to make data-driven decisions and drive continuous improvement will contribute to the overall success and growth of our organization.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Setup test benches and test equipment.

  • Read & modify detailed test procedures.

  • Operate general purpose test equipment – IE multimeters, Oscilloscopes, Function generators etc.

  • Product Integration Testing, Troubleshooting, Verification and Validation.

  • Prepare Test Documentation.

  • Strong communications skills.

  • Test Data recording & entry.

  • Good coordination, motor skills, and dexterity.

  • Operate/Test with environmental test equipment such as thermal chambers, rate tables and support vibration and TVAC testing.

  • Ability to multitask & cross train to assist other associated programs.

  • Ability to carry out instructed tasks with precision with minimal errors and under minimum to no supervision.

Must be a US Citizen due to contractual requirements.

MUST HAVE

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • 1+ years of troubleshooting experience

  • 1+ year relevant electronics experience

  • Available to work 3rd shift schedule

  • Associate degree in electronics or related field.

  • Experience with Inertial Guidance Systems/Sensors Test.

  • Multi-tasking and can manage a variety of complex tasks.

  • Ability to identify key details, before, during, & after testing.

  • Individuals with the ability to be coached & learn proper testing methods.
