CORE RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS: (1) HAZARD COMMUNICATION / HALS LABELING SUPPORT: Understand and interpret current regulations regarding label requirements. Provide support and maintain the generation of HALS labeling templates. Create label templates in HALS that are GHS compliant. Support business in label compliance Quickly and efficiently resolve any issues raised by manufacturing sites, labs, DSCs. Provide accurate health and safety information related to HALS labeling of products using domestic and international regulations. Participate in cross-functional projects and work with various cross-functional teams (IT, plant representatives, local regulatory teams, etc.) Support projects go-live and make sure HALS labeling templates are setup correctly. Maintain HALS Requests mailbox by providing potential solution to customers in a timely manner. Provide update to sites on use of revised templates for GHS compliance. Respond to requests for template creation, HALS template corrections, labels for lab specific samples, specific country templates designs. (2) LOFTWARE GLOBAL LABELING SOLUTION SUPPORT: Participate in Loftware Spectraum Labeling Solution meetings, discussions, training, and design workshops. Provide support during various Loftware Spectraum labeling system stage testing. Become Loftware Spectraum proficient on labeling templates creation (domestic and global) Maintain generation and proper setup of Loftware Spectraum system labeling templates (global, domestic) Provide support to the manufacturing sites. Provide needed support for sites conversion from HALS and other legacy labeling systems to Loftware Spectraum Be able to provide efficient resolution to Product Stewardship related Loftware Spectraum questions and issues. Participate in any site visits during Loftware Spectraum conversion and provide go-live effort support as needed. Participate on cross-functional project teams (IT, plant representatives, local Product Stewardship group, Loftware Spectraum labeling solutions team, etc.) Review and update various region-specific Loftware Spectraum labeling templates. Participate in due diligence trips (BIOS,etc.) to gather labeling requirements as needed. Provide confirmation of accuracy of revised labels Ability to keep and follow project deadlines. Drive projects to successful go-live completion (3) TRACK AND MANAGE CHANGING REGULATION: Monitor new and changing regulations applicable to product compliance. Assist in determining the impact and support leadership's development of a compliance strategy for upcoming and/or changing regulations as they are related to SW products. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, tailoring to audiences. Excellent critical thinking skills and demonstrated ability to proactively manage stakeholder expectations. FORMAL EDUCATION: Required: Bachelor's Degree in the areas of chemistry, chemical engineering, biology, or other STEM related field. KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE: Required: Knowledge of HazCom regulations and requirements (ex OSHA GHS, WHMIS) Excellent verbal and written communication skills, tailoring to audiences. Familiarity with Product Stewardship function in Industry Excellent critical thinking skills and demonstrated ability to proactively manage stakeholder expectations. Experience supporting multiple projects, facilitating meetings, and following up on action items. Experience working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment. Strong work ethic, demonstrated attention to detail, excellent time management and organizational skills.
