Description Lerner Tower 9 is a surgical floor. We are a nationally recognized solid organ transplant floor. This means we transplant the liver, the kidney and the pancreas. Our staff is specially trained to take care of the patients directly from the PACU, so they can bypass the ICU (intensive care unit). Our supportive staff is the number one reason why nursing staff start with us and stay with us. Lerner Tower 9 takes in new nursing staff and treats them like their own.
