The Sherwin-Williams Company Tradeshow Marketing Manager in Cleveland, Ohio

This position will be responsible for planning and executing trade shows, events, and programs aligned to the business strategy and priorities of various internal teams. They primarily support the sales organization and their retailers. They will serve as the point of contact for assigned trade shows, staying within a defined budget, and managing the planning and onsite execution to ensure event success. Project Management of activities associated with a particular show or event that support the strategy defined with the sales lead and/or team. Responsible for leading an entire project through initiation, planning, execution, and completion. Ensure projects are on time, on budget, and within scope. Manage the annual calendar of Customer and Industry Trade Shows as well as Customer events for the Consumer Brands Group business units and communicate the calendar to key stakeholders/senior management as needed. Develop high impact layout and visuals (by show or event) that ensure that the company and our brands are represented in the best possible way to drive engage and ultimately sales. Establish a repeatable framework to coordinate all elements of trade shows and event management, including show research, site planning, analysis of opportunities, expense management, ROI analysis and reporting, booking of booth space, ordering exhibition services, and overseeing logistics (on and offsite). Responsible for selection and management of suppliers that provide the highest quality services at the best costs. This includes services across creative, fulfillment, merchandising, production and installation/dismantle. Management of any programs established at the exhibit companies with partner with. Continually look for ways to improve and make as efficient as possible. And example of this is the Portables Program at Downing Exhibits Co. Stay informed on brand and product initiatives to be prepared during the pre-show planning process. Participate in the organizations monthly Stage Gate meetings, Marketing Summit and any other activities recommended by the Director of Marketing. FORMAL EDUCATION: Required: High School Diploma Preferred: Bachelor's degree Preferred. Equivalent experience accepted. KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE: Required: Minimum of 5 years trade show experience either within a company or at an exhibit company. Minimum of 3 years prior experience in Sales, Marketing, Channel Management, and/or Product Development with progressively more responsibility and a track record of results Excellent project management, communication, and logistic skills. Preferred: Above average ability to collaborate with a high degree of initiative across many stakeholders. Track record of managing logistics across multiple projects to meet timelines and budgets. Ability to balance both the creative aspect of trade shows and events with the financial aspect. TECHNICAL/SKILL REQUIREMENTS: Expertise in MS Office Suite and Teams/SharePoint a plus.
