Job Description Overview The Framing Manager is responsible for ensuring the overall profitability of framing installed sales, for training, supervising and directing the work of framing installation crews, performing quality checks at jobsites, maintaining production or installation records, planning framing installation work, apportioning the work among the framing crews, overseeing the maintenance of all equipment and trucks, providing for the safety and security of the framing crews, assisting with any estimates that will need performed in the field and addressing and adjusting common inquiries and/or complaints from customers. Responsibilities Training Installers Monitoring Safety standards Overseeing the maintenance of all equipment Assisting with estimating Exercising discretion and independent judgment in responding to common inquiries or complaints from customer May be required to install framing, if needed Qualifications Word Processing Software Spreadsheet and Internet Software Respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers Ability to read and comprehend documents (i.e. policy and procedure manuals); write routine reports and correspondence; speak/present in front of a small group Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form; deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
