Role Summary
Cosma Eagle Bend Manufacturing, a division of Magna International Inc., is hiring an Maintenance Industrial Machine Repair Tech for our Assembly Department. Assembly Maintenance Technician will provide technical support for production and carry out the assignments and responsibilities given to them by the Assembly Maintenance Supervisors and Team Leaders.

Available Shift:
2nd Shift 2:30 pm - 10:30 pm
3rd Shift 10:30 pm - 6:30 am
Overtime: Candidates must be available to work Overtime and weekends as needed. Overtime is paid 1.5 and double on Sundays
Starting Pay: Pay will differ depending of Level of Experience. Pay range starts at $28.14 - 34.75 (We offer $1.00 differential pay for working 2nd or 3rd Shift)
Key Responsibilities
Must be able to perform complex repairs without supervision using mechanical equipment and/or hand tools. Read, modify, and make design changes to any mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic or electrical prints when needed.
Troubleshooting and repair of all associated equipment in the Press Dies Stamping Department
Interface peripheral equipment and with multiple networks
Ability to learn new controls and automated systems
Advanced knowledge of Hydraulic Theory and application associated with Press equipment
Troubleshoot electrical control systems
Advanced knowledge of Press Controls systems and motion controls and equipment
Complete understanding of operation of clutch and brake assemblies and must be able to disassemble and repair clutch and brake assemblies.
Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic circuit components, electrical control systems, gear, belt, and chain drives.
Disassemble and repair shaft bearings and seal assemblies
Ability to assist other team members in development of personal skills and growth within the department
Install production and support equipment in conjunction with moderate fabrication and rigging in conjunction with Engineering and Production with minimum or no supervision
Advanced robotic knowledge, inclusive of:
1.
Troubleshooting and repair of all associated robotic equipment
Programming and interfacing with PLC
Interface peripheral equipment
Ability to learn new robotic systems
Key Qualifications/Requirements
2 years minimum working in the industrial manufacturing
Course work in Electrical, Hydraulics, and Pneumatic
Experience in maintaining and improving Hydraulic and Mechanical Presses and all associated equipment
Technical Education: Course work in Electrical, Hydraulics, and Pneumatic principal and theory

Equipment/Tools:
Hand tools and test equipment
Portable welding and grinding equipment
Drills, saws, ladders, & machine shop equipment
Forklift, genie boom, & overhead crane
Precise measuring equipment
Working Conditions:
Ability to move throughout the plant
Extended sitting and standing; reaching and bending.
Occasional lifting of up to 40 lbs. may be required
