10% shift differential
Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 4:30 PM – 5:00 AM

We are looking for candidates to join our Saw Department. Successful candidates will receive a comprehensive training program with opportunities to advance, develop skills and experience in machining. Qualifications
Technical Capacity, Communication Proficiency, Time-Management, Self-motivation, Initiative, Problem Solving/Analytical, Organizational Skills, High level of Accuracy, Attention to detail, Solid Math Skills, Basic computer skills
Heavy work: Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally and/or up-to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up-to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects
High school diploma or general education development (GED) required
Basic Math, computer, and blueprint reading
Manufacturing: 1 year (preferred)
Responsibilities
Saw Operator will set up and operate saws to cut metal materials to the required length or shape
Install saw blades, set stop gauges for the length of the cut, operate material feed, and set saw speeds for the type of materials
Set up and operate metal cutting saws to cut bar stock to specified measurements
Receive, store and route bar stock in the proper lengths, dimensions, and material types
Operate overhead crane for loading and unloading material
Responsible for the correct identification of raw material
Mark ends of stock to maintain the proper identity
Maintain an orderly work area and stock of material on the shop floor and on storage racking
Utilizes material handling equipment as required
Follows all departmental work procedures and company policies, including all company safety policies
Participates in maintaining the company’s quality system and adheres to standard operating procedures as applicable
Participates in employee training programs and communication meetings
Performs daily operator maintenance on saw equipment
Ensures the work area and equipment are properly maintained to provide a clean, safe, and efficient work environment
Performs miscellaneous duties and projects as assigned and required
