Emerson HR Business Partner in CLUJ NAPOCA, Romania

The role will assist the EMEA HR Manager in coordinating and implementing the HR Strategy for the Enterprise IT section part of our company, within the Europe, Middle East, and Africa Region (EMEA). Working with and through the Local HR Partners and Leaders, as well as with our EMEA IT Leaders, you will take part in different projects aimed at improving employee experience within the company. You also will offer employees guidance and coaching on learning programs, career development and performance management.

In this role your main responsibilities will be:

Employee Experience

  • Build a culture of trust and partnership with our IT Community by driving different engagement programs, such as: pulse surveys, regular touch points, team meetings and focus groups

  • Drive Diversity, Equity and Inclusion programs and initiatives, tailored to our talent needs, to create a nurturing and inclusive environment where employees feel empowered and respected.

  • Participate in and sponsor Employee Resource Groups within the region as well as acting as a representative for the region in Enterprise IT DE&I initiatives.

  • Implement and develop the EMEA Engagement and Communication model with the purpose of encouraging a seamless and overall sound experience to our employees’ groups.

  • Assist the leadership team in initiating the requisition approval process and offer support and guidance throughout the recruitment process to Local HR Partners and leadership team (including final interviews).

  • Conduct onboarding plans within Enterprise IT for all new hires.

Learning and Development

  • Own the Training and Development plan for EMEA, including tracking completed trainings, gathering training need, working with internal and external suppliers in scheduling training sessions, as well as coordinating with Leaders and employees to ensure proper facilitation and access to information

  • Facilitate internal behavioral based trainings and manage learning programs

Other important initiatives

  • Support the annual salary review and promotion process by working with the leadership team in building requirements, job descriptions and initiating the approval process – in collaboration with local HR partners as needed.

  • Contribute to the Enterprise IT HR Global and Regional Strategies, by getting actively involved in activities, initiatives and projects, as well as proposing and initiating some of them.

For this role, you will need:

  • University degree in a related field (Proven experience could be considered in lieu of studies).

  • Demonstrable experience (over 5 years) within an HR function (recruitment, talent management, employee relations).

  • Proven experience of working within in an international and/or matrix organization with multiple collaborators.

  • Skilled in using the MS Office Kit and other internal tools and data management systems (Oracle, Sharepoint, PowerBI).

  • Fluent English.

  • Proven knowledge of working with HR Processes (Promotions, Development, Performance Management, Joiners/Leavers).

  • Good presentation skills with a keen eye for details.

Preferred, qualifications, to set you apart:

  • Experience in working with senior leadership.

  • Previous experience in working within a project team and/or managing HR projects.

  • Good grasp of any other language is helpful (especially Russian/Hungarian/French).

  • Proven knowledge and/or experience in coordinating communications, meetings, and trainings.
