Emerson HR Payroll Operations Administrator in CLUJ NAPOCA, Romania

We have a fantastic role for a detail focused person, who enjoys keeping their work well organized and precise and who is open to learn and grow within our team.

The role is part of our HR Operations team in Cluj-Napoca and will be focused on tasks regarding the Payroll function. Together with team, you will have an important role in updating the payroll system and sending monthly data vital to perform the salary calculations. You will also have the chance to interact with colleagues from the entire business, assisting them with HR related requests.

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Managing and transmitting monthly data needed for salary calculations: timecards, bonuses, deductions, amounts regarding optional health insurance, per-diem allowances taxable and non-taxable in the country and abroad, dependents and co-insured persons, bank accounts, record of deductions in the case of new employees, the option for pillar II pension in the case of tax-exempt employees, etc.

  • Medical leave certificates management.

  • Preparing the monthly salary bank accounts reports for the company's partner banks.

  • Managing various benefits offered to employees, such as: meal, gift and vacation cards, allowances (awarded upon birth of employee's children, death in their immediate family or serious illness).

  • Assisting employees with various requests for certificates (income, seniority, medical, for the embassy, unemployment, contributory certificates, etc.) and answers to questions regarding labor relations and wages.

  • Submission of all the requested reports regarding labor and salary relations;

  • Managing the processes related to medical leave for pregnancy/childcare.

  • Keep records well organized by consistently updating HR systems and archiving HR documents.

  • Maintaining the relationship with the labour authorities and preparing the official answers to the authorities with the assistance of the legal department.

For This Role, You Will Need:

  • Completed Bachelor studies.

  • Have advanced Microsoft Office know-how (focus on Excel and Word),

  • Solid knowledge of Human Resources and personnel regulations.

  • Very good interpersonal skills and customer orientation, in order to interact in a fair and helpful way with colleagues from different levels within the organization.

  • A good ability to prioritize your work effectively, in order to respect timelines, while also maintaining a solid attention to detail.

  • Strong teamwork orientation and a keen ability to learn from your colleagues.

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

  • previous experience in a similar position, with a focus on Payroll operations.

  • previous experience working in a multinational, in particular a matrix organization.
